On Friday, May 27th, at 19:30, we will be standing by the Ukrainian citizens with an online broadcast which will be streamed through Digital TV’s platform, and will also be supported by the Cypriot media.
Vasiliki Chatziadamou and Alex Panagi, who was also the one who inspired this initiative, will be the hosts, while several artists from both Cyprus and Greece will participate, either live on Digital TV’s studio or through pre-recorded messages.
Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, the President of the Cypriot Republic, Ms. Annita Demetriou, the President of the House of Representatives, and Ms. Stella Kyriakidou, the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, will all address their messages in an evening of purely philanthropic character.
Throughout the entirety of the event, the audience will have the opportunity to financially support the bank account that has been established by the Cypriot Republic, especially for this cause, as well as the account of the Cypriot Red Cross, which supports Ukrainian refugees arriving in Cyprus.
The event will be held under the auspices of the Citizen’s Commissioner, Panagiotis Sentonas, as well as the Delegation of the European Commission in Cyprus, in cooperation with the Cypriot Red Cross.
Depicted in the video and photographs, is four-year-old, Kira, from Ukraine. She was driven to Cyprus, because of the nightmare of war.

Την Παρασκευή, 27 Μαΐου, στις 19:30, στεκόμαστε δίπλα στον Ουκρανικό λαό με μια διαδικτυακή εκπομπή που θα προβληθεί από την πλατφόρμα της Digital TV και θα στηριχθεί παράλληλα από τα ΜΜΕ της Κύπρου.
Παρουσιαστές θα είναι η Βασιλική Χατζηαδάμου και ο Άλεξ Παναγή, εμπνευστής της πρωτοβουλίας, με τη συμμετοχή καλλιτεχνών από Κύπρο και Ελλάδα, τόσο ζωντανά στο στούντιο της Digital, όσο και μέσω μαγνητοσκοπημένων μηνυμάτων.
Ο Πρόεδρος της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας, κος Νίκος Αναστασιάδης, η πρόεδρος της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων, κα Αννίτα Δημητρίου και η Ευρωπαία Επίτροπος Υγείας και Ασφάλειας Τροφίμων, κα Στέλλα Κυριακίδου, θα απευθύνουν το δικό τους μήνυμα, σε μια βραδιά με καθαρά φιλανθρωπικό χαρακτήρα.
Καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια, το κοινό θα μπορεί να ενισχύσει οικονομικά τον τραπεζικό λογαριασμό που έχει ανοίξει ειδικά για τον σκοπό αυτό η Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία, καθώς και τον λογαριασμό του Κυπριακού Ερυθρού Σταυρού, ο οποίος στηρίζει πρόσφυγες που φτάνουν από την Ουκρανία στην Κύπρο.
Η εκδήλωση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Επιτρόπου του Πολίτη, Παναγιώτη Σεντώνα, και της Αντιπροσωπείας της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής στην Κύπρο, σε συνεργασία με τον Κυπριακό Ερυθρό Σταυρό.
Στο βίντεο και στις φωτογραφίες απεικονίζεται η 4χρονη Κίρα από την Ουκρανία, η οποία οδηγήθηκε στην Κύπρο από τον εφιάλτη του πολέμου.
