Digital Tree has incorporated into its strategy the collaboration with organisations that act as advocates for advancement, innovation, and the sharing of groundbreaking ideas. Within this framework, we would like to announce, with great pleasure, our brand new collaboration with the Cyprus Seeds organisation.
Cyprus Seeds is a private initiative of Cypriot and Greek expatriates, that supports research teams from universities and Research Centers (Centers of Excellence) in Cyprus, aiming to realise their innovative research work in products and services that solve international issues and challenges of different financial sectors, such as the energy of health, environment, and arts. It was established as a non-profit organisation in June 2018, and has, as of today, supported twelve research teams in Cyprus, by providing grants, mentoring, qualification, and networking with foreign investors. Cyprus Seeds’ efforts are also supported by The Hellenic Initiative (Ellines tis Diasporas), the Cypriot Government, Eurobank Cyprus, EY Cyprus, and the Leventis Foundation. For the accomplishment of its goals, Cyprus Seeds is collaborating with MIT Enterprise Forum Greece (MITEF Greece), as well as US-based MIT University’s Centre for Technological Innovation.

H Digital Tree έχει ενσωματώσει στη στρατηγική της, τη συνεργασία με οργανισμούς που προάγουν την εξέλιξη, την καινοτομία και τη διάδοση πρωτοποριακών ιδεών. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, με ιδιαίτερη χαρά, ανακοινώνουμε τη νέα μας συνεργασία με τον οργανισμό Cyprus Seeds.
To Cyprus Seeds είναι μια ιδιωτική πρωτοβουλία Κυπρίων και Ελλήνων της διασποράς, που στηρίζει ερευνητικές ομάδες από τα πανεπιστήμια και τα Ερευνητικά Κέντρα (Centers of Excellence) της Κύπρου, με στόχο τη μετουσίωση του καινοτόμου ερευνητικού τους έργου σε προϊόντα και υπηρεσίες που επιλύουν διεθνή προβλήματα και προκλήσεις σε διάφορους τομείς της οικονομίας, όπως της ενέργειας της υγείας, του περιβάλλοντος, και των τεχνών. Συστάθηκε ως μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός τον Ιούνιο του 2018 και έχει στηρίξει μέχρι σήμερα 12 ερευνητικές ομάδες στην Κύπρο, με την παροχή χορηγιών, mentoring, κατάρτισης και δικτύωσης με επενδυτές του εξωτερικού. Την προσπάθεια του Cyprus Seeds στηρίζουν μεταξύ άλλων οι Έλληνες της Διασποράς (The Hellenic Initiative), η Κυπριακή Κυβέρνηση, η Eurobank Κύπρου, η EY Κύπρου καθώς και το Ίδρυμα Λεβέντη. Για την επίτευξη των στόχων του, το Cyprus Seeds συνεργάζεται με το MIT Enterprise Forum Greece (MITEF Greece), καθώς και με το Centre for Technological Innovation του Πανεπιστημίου MIT στην Αμερική.
«Η Digital Tree δεν θα μπορούσε να μην αγκαλιάσει αυτόν τον Οργανισμό ο οποίος συνάδει απόλυτα με την κουλτούρα και το προφίλ μας», δήλωσε η Ξένια Ξενοφώντος, Διευθύντρια Εταιρικών Σχέσεων και Βιωσιμότητας. «Η συνεργασία μας με το Cyprus Seeds και την ομάδα του, συνάδει με τη στρατηγική μας για στήριξη της καινοτομίας και των πρωτοβουλιών πού συμβάλλουν στην εξέλιξη και την πρόοδο του οικοσυστήματος της Κύπρου».
Σχολιάζοντας τη συνεργασία, η Μαρία Γεωργιάδου, Γενική Διευθύντρια του Cyprus Seeds, δήλωσε: «Ξεκινάμε τη συνεργασία με την Digital Tree με πολύ ενθουσιασμό γιατί και οι δυο οργανισμοί πιστεύουμε στους ταλαντούχους νέους που διαθέτει η χώρα μας.
