The Digital Tree Group, in collaboration with INSPOT, the largest internet cafe chain in Cyprus and Europe, united by their unwavering support of the youth and the incredible world of gaming in Cyprus, announce the Cyprus Electronic Football League 2022, as well as the Cyprus Electronic Football Cup 2022.
The director of Inspot Cyprus, Giorgos Karapatakis, and one of the chief editors of Kerkida.net, Nikos Gogakis, shook hands to seal the deal.
Digital Tree aims to support young players, by providing them with a promotion platform that may help them achieve their goals, as well as upgrade the status quo of Cypriot football through gamification.
Kerkida.net has been an innovator in the field of online journalism, with 18 years of experience, and is proceeding with yet another initiative, in response to the ever-growing interest around the world of esports, in Cyprus and the entire world. We have heeded the suggestions of our readers and organised the Cyprus Electronic Football League & Cup, and we have also created a new thematic column, dedicated exclusively to gaming, including all CEFL news, as well as the latest gaming developments in general.
This year’s league and cup will consist of the following 13 teams: APOEL, AEK, AEL, PAEEK, Elea Lythrodonta, Anagennisis Lythrodonta, ASIL, APEA, MEAP, FIFA Hellas, Fonbet OLB ESC, Parkhood Kefallinias and ALB Esports.
Another innovative feature of this competition will be the fact that the matches will be streamed via Digital TV, as well as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch and they will be commentated by a professional sportscaster.
The esports football matches will be held every Tuesday and Thursday, starting today, Thursday, March 10th, 2022!

Στο φετινό πρωτάθλημα και κύπελλο θα συμμετάσχουν 13 ομάδες: Ο ΑΠΟΕΛ, η ΑΕΚ, η ΑΕΛ, η ΠΑΕΕΚ, η Εληά Λυθροδόντα, η Αναγέννηση Λυθροδόντα, ο ΑΣΙΛ, η ΑΠΕΑ, η ΜΕΑΠ, η FIFA HELLAS, η Fonbet OLB ESC, η Parkhood Kefallinias και η ALB Esports.
Η καινοτομία που εισάγεται στη διοργάνωση σχετίζεται με το γεγονός ότι τα παιχνίδια θα μεταδίδονται μέσω της Digital TV καθώς και σε Facebook, YouTube και Twitch και θα σχολιάζονται από επαγγελματία αθλητικογράφο.
Οι ποδοσφαιρικοί αγώνες esports θα διεξάγονται κάθε Τρίτη και Πέμπτη με έναρξη σήμερα, Πέμπτη 10 Μαρτίου 2022!
